Exploring Mars in Gemini: Maximizing Assertive Energy for Personal and Corporate Growth.

The one thing I love MOST about Astrology is: it is Math, History & Patterns. It is the PERFECT companion for Leadership & Personal Growth. It is the most important key I have used in my personal life & mission to navigate what I am in & help catapult me to where I desire to go. We can look back, see what happened, understand the energy & process how we performed. Look to the coming future, set for success & ACT as the most evolved & authentic version of ourselves.
“Sarah, I thought you were discussing a meeting I was debriefing from, or the launch of a program that in the past failed?!” You’d think this was JUST a page for leaders, entrepreneurs & businesses, right?! But no… we’re talking about Astrology. I am here to help you blend these worlds; utilize the skills you’ve learned in leadership for your SOULS growth & help your awakening process become as efficient as possible with Leadership tools.
There are infinite lenses we could focus on right now; our world is moving VERY quickly. But my goal for THIS article is to discuss our assertive planet Mars & its ingression into Gemini. What that means for you, how you might be feeling, how to utilize this energy, some key dates to note in the past & well as the dates of this coming transit & one BIG date moving forward when Mars in going to join up with our expansive planet Jupiter & fertilize a certain area of your chart of choice. At the end of this article I will offer some accessible ways to efficiently absorb this energy. So please grab your journal, a coffee or tea & let us begin!
Mars is going into Gemini this Saturday 20 July, 2024 & will be there until 4 September, 2024. This is important for a few reasons:
Mars has not been in Gemini since March, 2023 & its last transit was a BIG one (more on that below). The world has changed in MANY ways since that time & how we respond & not react to outside stimuli has developed exponentially.
Most of us have become quite grounded. We have found that the image we hold of our current realities & the future reality we desire to live have both become clearer. We are sovereign. We also understand that not everyone in worldly positions of control have our best interests in mind.
Our goals have more heart attached to them. It is not that we want wealth & success to PROVE IT to anyone or show it all off (inner adolescent)! We wish to have safety, security & freedom from what does not serve us. We wish for joy, health, wealth & family. We wish to inspire! Like No 2, we see the game & need not play it anymore.
**Side note here… a simple phrase to use when someone is discussing a divide or something polarizing in our day to day is: “Thank you for sharing. That is not my reality. I appreciate the view into yours.” Holding space for another, letting them HAVE their desired reality without judgement is something we are focused on this week. Back to Mars in Gemini. What do we already know about Mars? The little red planet, anger, Masculine (men from Mars, women from Venus vibes), assertion… that “get it done” attitude, etc. What do we already know about Gemini? The twins, run by Mercury, intellectual, chitchat, interruptions (it is actually an evolved aspect, trust me), multifaceted, creative, communicative, mutable air energy, etc.

When these two energies come together: we desire debate. A way to stretch our intellect & showcase the power of our knowledge. The PERFECT Mars in Gemini image would be: a lively caffè debate with someone whom we respect & are also maybe a wee bit intimidated by. The Father of our childhood best friend or the owner of a thriving company we respect… a new Mentor! Someone whom we look up to, but the topic we are discussing is something we feel VERY confident & well versed in. Something we are passionate about. There is very little silence, you could both go on for hours. This could also be a round table discussion with like minded individuals.
But, when does the moment end? If neither of you is right & neither is wrong? If we are ALL allowed our own realities, when does the conversation close? When the caffè does? When is it time to go back to our chosen realities? We cannot (as some of us have wished before) LIVE at the caffè nor can we stay there all day. We cannot LIVE in a debate or a polarizing world. We must use the friction of the moment as a pause, a space to strengthen & reset… & then continue down the path of our day.
Like I said in Mondays Article: we are ALL in need of a win right now. This has a LOT to do with that Mars & Uranus conjunction that happened ON Monday in Taurus. Mars changing signs SO CLOSE to this conjunction & the DAY BEFORE a Full Moon… the DAY BEFORE Leo Season begins is: SO MUCH. This is happening SO QUICKLY. This is a confusing 4 hour YouTube lecture on 1.7 speed that you cannot go back & replay. So please DO NOT get swept up in my whimsical effervescence & immediately go looking for this healthy dramatization at your local watering hole. IF, at the end of this article (we’ll go over this again) you know JUST the person you want to talk to & feel safe doing so, amazing! After reading this article & feeling grounded, give them a call & plan that coffee meetup! Be grateful for that person! Geminis are usually VERY social beings & this aspect is a BEAR hug (or attack) waiting to happen. Let us continue our prep…

Now let us go back into our PAST journals & see what was coming up for us then (try to view things ONLY through the lens of Mars & Gemini, separately & together). How was I expressing my anger? Was I assertive? Did I “cave” to outside influences? Did I stand up for myself? Was I a “go getter” or was I passive with my vision? Was I creative? Was it healthy? Did I share OPENLY & FREELY? Or did I preface before I spoke? Did I take up space when I walked into the room? Or did I bow my head to those I deemed better than myself? Did I idealize those I believed to have more intellect than I? Did I give my power away? Did I trust my own gut, heart & mind?
I don’t know about you, but sometimes in this ever changing world: I take NO ONE else’s word but my own. I trust my own gut & the God of my understanding. So my journal is my safe space… Me, all the Me’s across time & space… with God. As leaders, we journal for many reasons. One KEY reason is so that we can go back & learn from how we acted & reacted in the past. Like I expressed venerably in my YouTube Video, back then, during this PAST Mars in Gemini transit… I was looking for validation in ALL the wrong places. I was following the voice I KNOW to be my intuition, I KNOW to be my Higher Self… but it did NOT make sense at the time. As a Mystic… I go down ALL the rabbit holes: to come back, teach a bit & tell a few good tales of the time.
What I have LEARNED from that time period of Mars in Gemini:
my lessons catapulted me into the vibration of: NEVER GIVING UP.
I now know how to say: NO.
I now know how to vibe with myself & speak freely to the King I know to exist for me on this planet.
I understand the Laws of THIS Universe & how we cannot change ourselves to fit the needs of others.
I know when my inner child or inner adolescent is running the ship.
I know when I am lying to myself.
I know how to tell when someone is lying to ME.
Now let us look to the here & now & get ready for Saturday! More key dates:

14 August, 2024: Mars conjunct Jupiter in Gemini at 16 degrees
4 September, 2024: Mars goes into Cancer.
As you can see: Mars is usually in a sign for about 6-7 weeks. The LAST time Mars was in Gemini it was there for SEVEN MONTHS. This was a MASTERCLASS for us all! If you are new to this language, please do not feel like you missed the lessons, just go back into your journal or check your social media pages for your main focus. We ALL have a paper trail. I even checked my Instagram to see what the vibe was like during that time. Go back into your pictures, emails, check up ON the past version of yourself & give them a review.
Okay! Now that we have a deeper understanding of these energies (with my Monday article as well as this article I feel confident that you are able to separate all the lenses of: Mars, Uranus, Taurus, Gemini & Conjunction. What they all mean individually & when you mix some of them together, what that means. If not, please email directly & we can discuss further), let us now add in the planet Jupiter. She is our EXPANSIVE planet! Our “luck be a lady tonight” gregarious, right place at the right time planet. That’s Jupiter for you! She’s THICK & does NOT apologize for it. Yes, she can be (on the negative side) gluttonous but & on the positive side: TAKE UP THE SPACE she needs to. That she is MEANT to.

You CANNOT become small to fit the needs of others. Your COMPANY your MISSION cannot become small to fit the needs of others. I tried! It doesn’t work! You can choose to:
WATCH the destruction of the Tower fall - a building they’ve added the dynamite to… if you will. The systems that do NOT work for everyone, just a few. The soap opera of the worlds main stage. The crumbling of the outside world. Whatever you label it… it is all the same.
Build your Empire & let it be ready when the world is in need of what lights YOU up. When Mission mixes with Passion & you attach the dopamine to the process = you CANNOT fail. If you ENJOY daily life… nothing can be taken from you.
Stay confused? Be prepared. Will you be in lack & fear? Or will you stand in your POWER & say: I can do this.
I want people straightening their tie when you walk in the room. Standing up straight & looking over to you: KNOWING you have something important to say. That is what I want for you. LIVE IT. Claim it! OWN IT. Believe it!
Now that I have introduced Jupiter & hyped you all up a bit, let us focus now on some key takeaways & action steps leaving this article:
MEDITATE EVERY MORNING. Have a sacred routine. Give yourself ample time each morning to TELL the day how it’ll go. Brendon Burchard (years ago) gave us three questions to ask ourselves: What am I excited about today? What could trip me up & how would my best self handle it? How can I surprise someone that I love? I LOVE these key questions & they could be a simple place to start. The world is not happening to you, it is RESPONDING to you. It is also moving SO QUICKLY so taking a few moments every single morning is imperative to your souls growth, your business strength, your family, your health, I could go on & on. I will be mentioning this in most of my posts as it is a NON NEGOTIABLE for myself & my practice. Remember: meditation can be a walk, a workout, a shower, a seated meditation, screaming at the ocean, etc. It can look different every morning. Just take a few minutes every day to remind yourself: who you are (awareness), how I want to feel (grateful, wealthy, abundant, prosperous, grounded) & then DO IT, FEEL IT, ACT IT NOW.
Learn how to KNOW: is my inner child or inner adolescent running the ship? How can I tell when they are? Am I acting out for attention? Like I said in the Video Companion, I can ALWAYS tell when my inner teenager is at the helm when I say: “I don’t wanna…..” “I don’t wanna work, clean, cook, send the email, pay the bills, etc.” Since we are ALL learning how to meditate on a regular basis, we can speak from THAT foundation & move forward in sovereignty. If my teenager needs a meal or coffee out - I’ll take her out. If my inner child needs a night at home watching the Wizard of Oz & eating popcorn - DONE. I’ll do it. They are components of you that are NEVER going away. So give them what they need when it is a SAFE time to give it. Re-parenting takes WORK, but we are WORTH IT.
One of my favorite images of all time. Stop lying to yourself. This is mirror work time. I have said for many years: at the end of the day, once you wash the world off your face… you are the ONLY ONE who has to look yourself in the eye & be okay with the person you are. Take a few moments & sit in front of the mirror & ask yourself: where am I lying to myself? Where am I lying to myself? Keep going & see what images come to mind. What sounds do you hear? What moments come back to your minds eye? Ask a few times until something comes up & I promise you something WILL come up. Trust that image. That will be your work for this transit. The New Moon in Gemini was about EGO. This could be positive OR negative Ego integration work.
****TIME OUT: IF mirror work is scary or triggering: DO NOT DO IT. Do some journaling OR skip this step completely. Mental Health is NO JOKE right now & I want you feeling SAFE as you do this work. Dress for success. This is something that has come up in some client sessions as of late & Jupiter comes in HOT & sometimes in unexpected times & ways. So I want you READY to bump into ANYONE at any time. Do you dress for the job you want? Or for the lifestyle you desire? Do you wear PJs to the grocery store or on an airplane? Respect is one of my personal top five values & if I do not respect myself: no one will. I dress for respect & the lifestyle I desire at all times. Yes, I wear sparkles on my face… pretty much every day now & am here for the disarming quality it brings the world. “She’s safe, she sparkles.” THAT is key (for me) to be a safe space for you ALL. Also: CONFIDENCE IS KEY. So I don’t care if it’s sparkles, two different colored socks, fun ties, BIG makeup… however you express yourself: DO IT. ROCK IT. OWN IT. Look in the mirror before you go out & say: THIS is how I actively want the world to treat me. Yes, I know that the “billionaire style” can be perceived as a lot more casual, but THAT view has more to do with comparison than it does self value. Wealth vs. pretend wealth is that lens. Flashy vs. TRUE Wealth. What does Wealth FEEL like to you? To me, it takes care of itself. It is a fluid, functioning energy flow. It does not roll out of bed & just let the world run itself. It says: this is EXACTLY how I CHOOSE to show up. You can Gary Vee it if you want, go casual - but keep it clean & take a few moments in the mirror before you head out into the world.
View yourself through the eyes of another: this is where we call in that friend or Mentor we were discussing earlier. The Gemini is ALL about dialogue. Ask THEM how you were acting either back then, now, or a comparison between the two. Ask an old friend or colleague to give you their honest assessment of you. This can be a bit scary at first, but tell them it is FOR your personal growth journey & remind them A: you value their opinion & B: it is OKAY to be honest here & show you your shadow. We cannot SEE our own shadows & we develop quicker when we surround ourselves with comrades who TELL us when we have food in our teeth. Who remind us that we are just humans, only human & are worthy of real friendship. If we do not have a mentor, friend or colleague whom we feel safe enough to do this with: ASK THE UNIVERSE FOR ONE. Book a session. See a shaman. Hire a coach! Listen to Bob Proctor. The School of Greatness. Tony Robbins. Dr. Joe Dispenza. Have the vibration of empowering voices in your ears as often as possible.
Remember… above ALL: choose your OWN adventure & TRUST the path you are on. To those that are new to my work: it is NOT always this Spicy out there, it’s just July 2024. We flow with the cycles of the moon & flow WITH the current. Just like it is not always Summertime, not always Autumn, we KNOW that seasons change we KNOW that Mars will eventually leave Gemini, we KNOW we get through this weekend…so why not enjoy riding the wave! The desire to be a Leader is a seed planted in certain souls - but not all. Before coming to earth: we ALL decided what role to play & being a leader is such an incredibly joy & privilege!
